In 1926, Chanel introduced her design for the "Little Black Dress" which embraced simple lines, fine fabrics and the ability to move from day to evening just by changing one's accessories. It is a concept that continues to be highly fashionable with a little black dress, or LBD, being a part of almost every woman's wardrobe.
