The anonymous maker of this Postage Stamp Quilt was clearly talented and patient. This quilt is composed of thousands of tiny 1 inch by 1 inch squares of the brightly colored and pastel prints available in America in the 1930s. In addition, the quilter used the negative space on the quilt to create a white diagonal grid that seems to float in front of a pieced background.
