Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Alton L. Bland.

Princess Charlotte (1796–1817) was the daughter of George, Prince of Wales and the future King George IV (reigned 1820–1830), and Caroline of Brunswick. In 1816, Charlotte married Leopold of Saxe- Coburg-Saalfeld, but she died the following year after giving birth to a stillborn son. If she had survived her father and grandfather, King George III, she would have become Queen of the United Kingdom.
